Legacy of Dayton O. Hyde Purpose:
Preserving the land to Let America's wild horses run free in a forever home since 1988
Legacy of Dayton O. Hyde is a non profit organization in the state of South Dakota devoted to rescuing unwanted wild horses and providing a forever home and safe haven for all horses and all wildlife that make up their home here. LDOH raises awareness to educate the public about the evolution of horses and to oppose the use of lethal methods or slaughter. Creating a lifelong sanctuary for wild horses that have been removed for their native land and federal programs.
Dayton O. Hyde valued protecting the horses, wildlife and environment around the sanctuary. LDOH we continue to live that legacy on but preserving and upholding the lives of wild horses and the other wildlife that’s around us. We do through your donations, grants and other gifts that our audience gives to the foundation
Our program does not receive state or federal funding. The legacy of Dayton O. Hyde provides freedom for the wild horses, through your support and donations. With those we can continue on his legacy and ambitions.
